The easy to use 402A Porta Nailer is the finest and most versatile flooring nailer on the market and comes ready to angle nail 5/8, 3/4 and 33/32 in. thick tongue and groove flooring. The nailer will also nail 3/8 -9/16 in. floors, metric configurations including bamboo and can be converted for face nailing by changing accessory shoes (sold separately). Preferred-Seating System uses a ratcheting ram to ensure nails are properly seated and flooring strips are tightly driven together. The patented anti-split nail cuts through wood without splitting your floor and three lengths of nails will insure you have the right fastener for the job. The nails wide head and grapple barb design provides superior holding power. The 402A Nailer uses 2 in., and 1-1/2 in. T Headed 16-Gal. Flooring Nails and are also available in stainless steel for exterior use, when using over ACQ plywood or installing ACQ decking over ACQ joist.
